This phone has sold me on Samsung quality and durability. It has done everything I've needed it to so and survived with no damage multiple drops and kicks across various asphalt parking lots (not recommended). Next purchase will be another Samsung product for sure.
Although other phones may be on demand mostly but the look and the real beauty Samsung gives to its products can't be neglected. Simple superb and charming.
Pros: Realistic color

LED light doesn't work. Can't delete pre-installed apps. Screen is awesome, dual cameras are great. Overall great, with a few things that need to be changed. Hopefully a software OTA upgrade soon to fix these issues?
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, slim
Cons: led, can't delete apps
I would recommend this to a friend!

Surprise! Samsung?

I was very loyal to HTC for many years then switched to the moto droid. The moto droid served me well, but it had run its coarse and I was due for an upgrade. It was a toss up between the HTC Thunderbolt and the Charge. There isn't much that seperates them, but battery life. The battery life of my Charge is insanly good. Functionaly, it is perfect and it looks great and feels good in my hand and more importantly in my pocket. The camera takes great pics and the widgets beat any other smartphone's in the market. There are apps on it i wish i could uninstall, but they are easily ignored. Glad I got the Samsung Charge!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, fits perfectly in my pocket.
Cons: comes with apps that can't be uninstalled.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great phone but it is laggy

The screen is amazing and great battery life. There are times where the phone is very laggy by either the touchwiz or the rfs filesystem. Couple of times, a GPS app asked to calibrate the GPS and the option is not in app menu or in menu settings.
I hope that Samsung will better at updating the Droid Charge than 2010 Galaxy S series phone promise updates.
The 4G LTE feature, and the respectable battery life is the primary reason for buying this device. The Super AMOLED Plus Display is a very nice feature... the design of the phone is top-notch, not feeling cheap as most people say based on how much plastic was used on it. I think everything was done as it should. Camera works great. I just hope Samsung is committed enough on this device and will release Android Updates (Gingerbread, and the future) to refresh the experience for the customers who supported this device. I had a Motorola Droid before this, and was very happy with it. Updates on were released in a timely manner and I really felt like Motorola tried their best to extend the life of the phone by providing customers with the latest and greatest version of the Android OS as much as the phone will support... I hope I get the same experience as long as I own my Samsung Charge.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, 4g lte, battery life
Cons: not gingerbread on release, non dualcore cpu, no pre-installed app for front camera video chat
