I fell in love with the 4.3" screen, it's contrast and brightness. After owning it, there are a few changes that would make this a world class phone. The exterior buttons is where I'd start. The power button is directly opposite of the volume buttons, whic means you accidentally turn off the phone easily. The button is also small, and not in a comfortable place. I wish they'd have made a recessed button on the front to take it off of standby. It's also lacking one touch dialing on the phone, which means you have to use a widget to get that feature. There is one loaded with the phone, but it takes up an entire screen. The voice recognition works well, it can do a LOT more than the iphone, although many things take more steps to do. The camera also works very well. Clarity on calls is so-so. Battery life isn't as good as I had expected, considering the reviews. I also miss the double tap to add a period at the end of a sentence. Web browsing is OK too, as sometimes it still takes you to mobile sites, even with the selection to make it work on full sites. If the iphone had a 4" or bigger screen and 4G, I'd have stuck with it. Some of the android apps are no where near as functional/finished as on the iphone.
Pros: Bright display, great camera
Cons: poor button locations
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't buy this phone until Android 2.3 is available

Don't get me wrong... I love this phone. Unfortunately, without an update to Android 2.3.4/Gingerbread, this phone clearly cannot live up to its potential. Mainly: the front-facing camera is useless for most live-chat functions and the AMOLED screen is far superior to most, except that you cannot stream Netflix. Boo! [Granted, I bought this phone knowing it had Android 2.2 but not knowing the limitations on the phone because of it.]
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, battery life vs. other 4g phones
Cons: Did not meet expectations, expensive, battery life in general, old android os
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great screen great design great functionality awesome phone high quality light weight ease of operation
Good: Great Screen, Fast LG4 Network, Good amount of Memory, lite weight, rear and facing cameras
Bad: Bloatware, single core processor, Android 2.2
This is a great phone, but it could be better. Would like to have seen the product ship with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). The inability to remove pre-installed programs (bloatware) is a pain and a waste of disk space. The interface works well and the screen is just absolutely stunning. The inclusion of a stand to watch movies from the MediaHub would have been a nice touch. Overall a nice phone from Samsung, but not it's best effort in he new 4G phone offering.
