Amazing graphics!

Only thing negative is when I bought 2 movies from the Samsung Media Hub, I can only watch them on the phone and cant find the help to be able to watch on my tv or even my computer. Other than that, this is the best phone I have ever owned!!!!!!!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

What is wrong with my Charge?!

It is too slow!!!! I don't know if it is a glitch or what but it gets stuck for a few nano seconds. The screen glitches a little and I'm not use to the way one has to turn on the screen. The Charge has great features but when one has a great looking phone and it doesn't work like one, it's not worth it!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Droid Charge excellent choice

The Samsung Droid Charge is my first smartphone. I purchased it largely because of its amazing AMOLED plus display. I also considered the Droid Bionic. The screen display was less impressive with the Bionic and I was unwilling to pay the additional cost for its more publicized features (lappad option). I considered many reviews and my personal experience over about 7-10 days before making my final decision to keep it. It would probably be a better phone with the updated operating system, but I have no serious complaints. My battery performance has been pretty good except when I travel to poor reception areas. It seems to drain the battery quickly when service is difficult to obtain. My 3G network will soon be 4G and this phone will benefit further from those capabilities. With 3G or WiFi, I have greatly enjoyed the video capabiliites of NFL Mobile (only on Verizon) and YouTube. The camera on this phone is very useful and capable.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, verizon network
Cons: sound isn't always the best
I would recommend this to a friend!

Charge connection issue ruins the phone

A coworker highly recommended the Charge based on research before it was released. I purchased the phone because I respected his opinion, and I have had good performance out of other Samsung phones in the past.
The Charge is a good phone in numerous categories, and I enjoy many of the aspects of it. However, the performance issues have not only tainted my opinion of it, they have created repeated issues due to frozen screens and lost connections.
Freezing screen - I have minimized the applications installed, constantly verified all updates are current and even moved all of the files off of the external storage, yet the screen still freezes.
Connection - There is only a moderate issue with the phone keeping a connection once it has been established, howerever it will rarely reaquire a connection once you have lost it. I work in a facility that has areas where there is no connection, and my previous phones would reacquire a connection when I came out. I have tried everything and I still end up rebooting the phone to get a connection.
This issue alone will feasibly cause me to have to purchase a new phone. Being that this one is only a few months old is disappointing. I do not look forward to spending hundreds of dollars on a new smart phone simply because I made a bad choice in purchasing the Charge.

Will not buy Samsung again

I've had a Samsung phone for the last 6 years. After owning the Charge, I will never buy one again. The phone runs out of battery life after one call. In the past 8 months I've had it, my entire operating system has crashed and wiped my phone out post a system update three times. I've lost all my contacts, all my apps & all my photos. Never again will I purchase a) a Droid & b) a Samsung phone.
I have never wrote in to a website to give a review but I don't wish the grief I've has with this phone on anyone.

i love it!!!!!!!! i will not tradeit for the world. can do everything need to do and so many apps for it. just download andgo. would highly reccomend over any other droid phone.

BUY IT...IT'S WORTH IT!

I have only had my phone a few days but the picture graphics are awesome. The screen is so bright like a Samsung HD LCD TV screen...it's that bright and crisp. I am crazy about the phone but navigation is somewhat confusing and I can't figure out how to delete the apps that are pre-loaded. When you go into manage apps it won't let you delete any of them, I can't figure it out. The battery lasts quite long...being a previous BB owner, that phone drained the life out of the battery constantly. But I give the CHARGE 5 STARS cause it is definitely worth the value. And you can upgrade the battery to an extended one as well.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: challenging to navigate through
I would recommend this to a friend!
