This is by far the best phone that I have ever purchased. The graphics and visual display were way ahead of its class when I purchased it last year. Currently the only phones that out perform the Charge are other, newer Samsung products which is a perfect indicator that their products are continuously improving as they should. I will be sticking to samsung for quite some time. There as not been a phone that has worked so seamlessly with its operating system in quite some time. Keep up the good work.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, graphics, camera quality
Cons: faster operating system needed. so many feat., battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was switching carriers from Sprint to Verizon, and this was the one of the phones that caught my eye. It has the Gingerbread OS on it, and thought that it would be a great phone. I've had some issues with it, but that's mainly cause I tinker with any phone I get. My wife, who has the same phone, likes it, but thinks that it could use some more power behind it. I tend to agree with that as it's a bit laggy. HOWEVER, all that being said, it's easy enough to use to the point that my 3 year old can use it.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def

I despise this phone

This phone started off fine, I had no complaints for the longest time. then when it updated to 2.3 and on, it has become so slow, always freezes, camera takes forever to load up. and the shutter is so slow. i can only take a decent picture on the worst quality settings. the phone started off strong, but i cannot wait to get rid of it in the spring.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

samsung did it again with the droid charge... although the cpu is a lil slugish compaired to the newer s2 / s3 i give it a solid 4 stars!!!

Great Phone Still Running Strong

Purchased my Charge when it was first released to take advantage of the verizon 4G network. The phone constantly delivers great data speeds out pacing my home wifi.
I was worried the large screen size would be a problem but it was easy to adapt to and find myself wanting the even larger screen on my next phone.

Slow and locks up

When the phone is working right it is amazing. But the processor is slow and the lack of ram causes problems.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: not enough ram, processor too slow.

I have had this phone for 19 months. Loved it when I first got it. Now it is very slow and freezes up. It says charging when not plugged into the charger. Can't wait for my contract to be up so I can get a new phone.
Pros: worked well when new
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

Expensive Paperweight

I got this phone not long after it came out. There has been minimal product software/ firmware support and upgrades. The phone is slow and glitchy. Half of the time it won't recognize that I moved the phone so I can use the number pad in a phone call. I have been anticipating replacing it after the 3rd month I had it. The batter doesn't last me a day anymore either.
