Best phone yet.

Thin, stylish, powerful. If every phone had the abilities this one does.
From the first 24 hours of having this phone, it was helping me with my email, providing better directions than my GPS locator, and has worked smoothly with the bluetooth in my vehicle. I am in no hurry to 'upgrade' at this point...the Charge helps me manage my life right now from emails and work calendar, to pictures and movies.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Please put a fiber plug in the earphone plug so dirt and water can't get inside.

I Love Love my Droid Charge. I use it for everything, from emails, to paying bills, etc. Worth the investment.

Love my Droid Charge

I spent many hours investigating what phone to buy and landed on the Samsung Droid Charge. Every product that I evaluated ended up having some shortcoming that was a deal breaker. After reading many reviews of the Charge, I made my decision and ordered. I have not regretted it. It has been everything I had hoped for.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Too big

Buy extra batteries

Battery life is inexcusably bad. I now own 3 batteries and an external charger to assure I get through the day. Built in apps are fair. Plan to replace with ones from the app store.
Pros: Bright display, makes phone calls
Cons: Did not meet expectations, battery life!

Doesn't live up to the hype

Phone loses data connectivity constantly. Drops calls on a daily basis and closes apps all day long. I do not have a lot of "apps" installed or anything like that. I just wanted a nice smartphone" that works, this is the farthest thing from what I wanted. I am thinking of going back to my old flip phone. It never lost signal, never dropped calls and when I was looking on the web at something it never closed the app or disconnected for no reason. This phone is junk. I love Samsung products, I have a large TV, blue ray player and a fridge all from Samsung, but I do not think I will ever be getting another Samsung phone.

Great screen

This phone's display is amazing. The LED back-light is blindingly bright. Very light phone for 4G, and do not worry about plastic housing. I have dropped it already a few times and no cracks or markings. The camera and camcorder are of high quality and the HDMI out has full mirroring. If you have the right carrier, get this phone.

I really enjoyed the looks and the features of this phone when I first received it. Now, after having it for a few months I realize it's not that great of a phone.
A major issue I had with it is that the huge SD card that came with it quit working. I had a ton of pics and videos of my 18 month old daughter and they are all gone. It just one day would not recognize it and stated it needed formatted. I put it in another computer to try and save my info, but no it was all gone. When I finally gave up the phone would not reformat the card. So, I lost that function.
Also, while talking with somebody and your signal fades the phone will not reconnect. You can still hear the other person, but they can not hear you. You have to hang up then call them back. The phone also gets really hot when its plugged into my Verizon car charger that is made for this phone.
