Droid Charge

I love this phone! It does everything I need it to. The browser is fast, the screen is big & crystal clear. There are so many apps to download, everyone can find anything they like to work on this phone. The only draw back is battery life. Which is to be expected given such a workhorse. No problem for me though having home and car chargers. I would definitely add a silicon case as it is sleek & slippery.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, large screen, fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this phone from functionality to aesthetics. My list of added "pros" cover why I love the Droid Charge so much; I'll expand a little though. The physical shape is just plain cool looking, as well, the contour at the bottom of the phone makes a little easier to hold as opposed to the striaght rectangle. I also like how the camera lens looks like the Autobot symbol :D I can get anywhere from 12 to 18 hours of battery life depending on use and I'm a heavy user. Bluetooth pairing with my Samsung bluetooth has always been flawless. GPS locking for Navigation, etc, has always been very quick. The 4G speeds are bafflingly fast and my Charge likes to connect to 4G when other 4G phones don't. And the screen...the screen impresses me more and more every time I wake it up.
HDMI For What? Media Hub is locked from external display

BE Warned! If you purchased this phone with the expectations of watching movies through the HDMI output, It only works with everything except Media Hub. All the movies you buy or rent are blocked from displaying on any external display device. The movies can only be viewed from the phone screen. save your money on movies and the HDMI cable, they don't work!
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, hdmi output is locked
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had my Charge for a couple of months now.

This is my first smart phone. I am hoping it will have the bugs worked out of it quickly. Here are the primary problems I have had so far.
1. I use a blue tooth a lot. This Charge drops the Jaw Bone sometimes two or three times during a call. The droid system shows it is still working but the sound is coming out of the phone itself. Sometimes I have to turn the blue tooth off and back on and it will connect again. Sometimes I have to switch to speaker and back to blue tooth and it will reconnect properly. Sometimes it just won't reconnect. My better half also has a Charge and has the same brand blue tooth and the same problem.
2. This Droid version will not allow the favorite or second favorite video talk app switch to the front camera. I think personally it is a Samsung problem and not the app software that has the problem.
Otherwise I am happy with the Charge.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Pretty good... when it works

In general I've been content with the Droid Charge, but I wouldn't go so far as to say happy. When it works, it's fast and has a lot of great features. And, 4G LTE, when available, is extremely fast. I pretty much leave it on 3G to save battery life (the constant 4G/3G switching you get otherwise has a huge drain on the battery), and then switch to 4G if I want to browse the web.
My problem is that the phone freezes up completely almost once a day, and temporarily freezes (can't unlock, can't exit an app, etc.) a few times a day. This has gotten very old, and is why I would not recommend this phone to a friend. It's frustrating when it happens, and I'd be embarrassed if a friend got this phone on my recommendation and had this same experience.
I'm really surprised that such an expensive piece of hardware is so flaky. Funny thing is this was a replacement for a flaky Fascinate, but this phone's flakiness is more severe in a lot of ways. I think I'm done with Samsung phones when my contract is up.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received this magnificent cellular phone from my place of work. I use it to do just about everything; surf the web, read and respond to emails, video chat with customers and family and take outstanding photos and video. The phone records in HD and even plays HD movies. You can't ask for anything more than that!
