NOT a smart tv

Bought it mainlyear to play avi, mpeg3, and mpeg4 files off my NAS. I have over 500 files variously encoded and I can't play a single one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this product has great features

these new TV's are something. I really like it once I learned how to operate it. Still learning new things. BUT the stand is not to stable and I get a funny sound from the speakers. Husband has to have it a little louder that is when I here the vibration sound.
Pros: love the picture, love being able to stream movies or tv shows
Cons: stand needs to be bigger, sound goes funny
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great tv with 1 minor flaw..

I generally love this TV, it has great picture, great features, and a wonderfully laid out remote.. The only thing I have noticed that is not good with this TV is the WiFi antenna.. this signal that you receive is nowhere as strong as it should be, (eg.) With the TV off and just my phone on the wifi( that way there's an accurate signal strength instead of them both pulling signal weakening each other) I get four out of five bars signal strength and about 19 to 20 megabytes of transfer rate, with my phone off and only the TV on I get about 3 out of 5 signal bars and normally to start a 6.7 transfer rate, which tends to for some reason bounce around and slowly drop.. which I realize maybe the router going bad but the phones don't seem to do it neither does the laptop.. maybe possibly this could be looked into and also an external wifi antenna connection could be added

Network Videos are choppy or won't play

I bought this tv so I could playback videos from my PC and Android phone. The devices interact but the video playback either doesn't work, plays choppy, or quits after playing a bit. Seems like the tv can handle playing audio and displaying pictures fine, but has trouble with videos. I have a strong network signal and can play the internet apps fine. I will return this tv unless it surprises me and starts working properly. I'll have to go with another brand.
Cons: can't play videos efficiently

Not for the average person features not all useful

The watching of TV is fine clarity for picture and sound is below average. Ease of use is not there. The price was okay, but would have expected better. If it had not been given to me, it would be retuned. Not always able to access other programs have to reset it frequently.
Pros: light weight and can be moved to dust easily
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Outdated in 2013 when I bought this. Also has problems within 2 years
Pros: easy to setup. good sound
Cons: antiquated interface., had to take it to repairs in 2 years
