Good picture, annoying to use

This product just isn't great to use. All the things using internet was finicky. For example, with Netflix, I had to grow into a habit of clicking on the movie/show suggestion up to 10 times in a row for it to play. Also, even going through every setting, the screen is way too zoomed in, which crops out a lot on all four sides. Also, just a lot of weird pop-ups (such as a big thing saying DVD when I switch to watch TV). It has really good sound and picture though so it's okay.

A good smart tv but lack of true DLNA is disappointing

This tv has good picture and sound, and also has some good smart tv features. Videos can be watched with built in Netflix, Youtube and those played from the USB port. The DLNA support for watching videos over your home network is however very disappointing. The same file formats that works when played with USB will not work over DLNA.
Pros: good for netflix and youtube, good for watching movies on usb flash drive
Cons: terrible dlna support

I bought this TV in a store and I can't be more happy. I've seen it working on the wall, between all the others, before picking it up. The wireless was connected in almost no time (ok, you still need to write the passphrase with the remote and it's not the best way, but you will do this only once), connected with HDMI to the cable box and it was working perfectly. I've tested it also with my android phone, attached with the HDMI cable, and it was amazing to see that. I don't have a bluray or a DVD player so I can't say anything about it. Netflix works perfectly and thanks to fios I can watch everything in HD.
Philips smart tv barely have apps and you cannot download more to it. Hulu was my main thing as I watch it on a daily basis. I'm switching to a different brand.
Cons: no hulu, not a lot of apps

I love this TV but the features are hard to use and to soon become outdated. The steps you must go through to use features like the sleep timer are very complicated and time consuming. The apps are nice if you are educated in using them and you know tec. launguage and what each app does.
Pros: good picture and features
Cons: complicated steps to use features like sleep timer, remote breaks easily just dropping off bed, most apps are outdated
