really like the setup and ease of use , wanted windows 7 and this was the one for me. I us mostly for internet,photos and games. Had only one minor problem and that was the touch pad ,not working at times have to keep retouching to grt it to move , will be contacting support.

Bought this for my son for college. He has had exposure to lots of computers over time, and he rates this as the best in all features. We upgraded to i5 processor and 1TB etc so he can store all his photos, music, etc. It is super light -- about 5 pounds and lightning fast. Only recommendation would be to upgrade the fan. He is on the machine during all waking hours and like all laptops it tends to get hot. Other than that, an A+

adequate, but recommend paying for the more expensive model and get the dv6 3120 pavilion . I was used to that one, but I dropped it and broke my laptop, I decided to go for the G6t, because it had some good reviews, and was cheaper, but it was not as nice as I had expected. It crashes when I play games and it is annoying...I wish I would've bought the more expensive one...I still recommend this for a beginner and maybe school aged kid for homework, an elderly person who just wants to have a computer to mess around with, but otherwise go for the more expensive laptop.

This is the first time I've purchased an HP laptop. I previously owned a Dell PC. HP is an improvement on my previous laptop. The sound quality is amazing on this PC. The keyboard took a little time for me to get used to as I am not used to laptops with number pads. I use Windows 7 on this PC and it works well enough for me. I definitely recommend this product for others.

...there was no product install DVDs included. Big negative!
Product initially booted and did the install ok, but I had to build and test the recovery DVDs as NONE WERE INCLUDED. Good thing I did too, as the recovery DVDs did not work when I tested them. HP tech support was pretty good, but it took about an extra week to get everything tested and running...
I would recommend this to a friend!
