Meets expectations

We purposely chose to buy the Windows 7 version (and Office 2010) to replace my crashed prior computer (4 yrs old with Vista). The new computer was easy to activate and needed a bit of fussing by my son, who is computer savvy, to download my files from my external hard drive. The one remaining problem is getting this program to sync with my old contact list. Wouldn't it be nice if it did?
Features on this version are user-friendly and fun. Hard to figure out what else is really important because ultimately that is the real test, is it not?

Great Computer, lousy battery

Love the laptop, hate the battery.
Advertised @ 7 hours, Then I checked reviews- 4.5 hours...
My Maximum on-time is only 2.4 hours...

So far it has proved to be as advertised: faster and easier to use.
I have just started to get acquanted with Win 7, as I have had Win XP

I'm not a big fan of laptops and this is my first one but I believe I have been converted. Once I hooked up the wireless mouse I was a happy camper!
