The hepa filter works well against VOC's
but also during the wildfire smoke.

Seems to work well as long as the sensor is correct. The filters seem pricy. But my Classic has functioned for many years. I live in high desert dust and sometimes high particulate pollution so i run it alot.

I have nothing but praises for Alen Breathesmart units and the filters.
I have recommended this company to 6 other people and they bought this wonderful unit and have been super pleased. Even my lung doctor bought one after seeing so much improvement on my ability to breathe without oxygen.
