Two years ago, I bought a 1970’s ranch. It had been rented for over 12 years, so the house needed a lot of fix, repair cleaning and general TLC.
I have had the Alen classic for over a year now. It runs 24/7 because I have 2 dogs and a long hair cat that live indoors with me.
The air quality is definitely improving, as more time is spent showing the blue indicator light now. At first the indicator was pretty much red for a couple of days. But as time went on, the yellow, then blue indicator light was on more and more. I also notice much less floating dust, pet hair and specs in the air.

The filter arrived on time and is very easy to place in the
machine. I like that I can wash it and make it last longer.

Great filter

This filter works as intended and as described. I have experienced notable improvements to the air quality in the designated area that I have placed my air purifier. The filter is easy to change and lasts anywhere from 6-12 months depending on how often you use it. It definitely needs the pre-filter changes (the black mesh) whenever there is too much visible particulates, which can vary depending on your air quality and air purifier usage. Definitely worth trying this filter out.

A very good choice

We have our air filter placed in the living room where we have a closed wood burning stove. In addition to filtering the smoke particles it also distributes the warm air more efficiently throughout the house through the fan on the top of the machine. We have it set on auto so the fan speeds up as necessary.
We primarily purchased the air filter for wildfire smoke, which was hazardous in our area the past couple if years during certain summer months.
Air filter works great and is easy to use.
