I have been using this printer for about a year, only one issue and xerox came out and fixed it. Love this printer.

Some features of this product are difficult to operate

The printing quality is good but I find that it is hard to find paper jams, difficult trying to print double sided copies in large quantities, and takes quite a while to warm up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Print Quality

My ColorQube 8570 is the best color printer I have ever owned. The print quality is "picture perfect." The solid ink is easier to use then the dry powder ink. The cost per page is lower than most color laser printers. Check you per page cost and the print quality and you will never have any other kind of printer but an Xerox ColorQube. Eddie Bratton, Ed. Great Color

I have a strong affinity for Xerox products as I grew up with them. I was looking to replace the HP color printer that had the issue of the magenta color fading due to a dirty mirror. This printer prints such professional quality and the colors are true. It does take under 1 minute to warm up, but after that it prints extremely fast. We initially had an issue where our black ink was leaking and had to have a piece replaced, but since then, no issues. It is remarkable how great this machine is, especially considering it took us so long to replace an old one.

Limitation

This has been a great printer for our section. The one drawback is that documents from this printer cannot be heat laminated.

Duplex keeps turning off

This printer has good print quality and a good price per page. I get constant complaints that it is noisy and takes a long time to warm up. You can override the warm up time, by setting it to hot all day. Our printer will stop allowing duplex prints, and I need to reset it to manufacturer defaults and reprogram it when this happens.

Keeps breaking down

We have 4 of these and they are constantly breaking down. The earlier models were rock solid but the ColorQube models are a nightmare for us. Had been serviced a lot and after servicing just keeps stopping. It looks attractive with the solid ink, great speed when it works but unreliable. Do not recommend this series at all.
