Died in less than a month

this is our second Colorqube. This one died within 21 days of installation. it has taken over 5 days to get parts in to fix.
Color me upset
Cons: Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great little machine

I leased one of these machine to use at remote jobsite location. This machine was inexpensive and my lease covered all the supplies. It has performed flawlessly. No service calls have been placed in the past year. Easy to set up, easy to use. This is the smallest Xerox product that I have. It has true Xerox durability and quality. Great machine!

Great workgroup printer

Nice color and the duplexing works very well. In printing out large PDF files (300 pages) this printer whips them out without any memory errors. This is a great upgrade from our Phaser 8560 DN,
Tray 1 (MPT) works very well for envelopes, I can print 500 in 40 min.
The only drawback is the printer is very loud and you wonder if it is falling apart when printing until you get used to the noise. Being so loud is the reason I deducted 1 star for a 4 star overall rating.

Best color printer ever!

The ink cubes are awesome. There is no cartridge to throw away. The ink is the cartridge. Brilliant idea. Great product. I am happy to "Xerox" my stuff once again.
Pros: Excellent Print Quality, Zero cartridge waste

Excellant Experience with this printer

This ColorQube 8570DN replaced my Phaser 8550DN. In printing Special Presentations, Business Plans, Executive Summarys and Proposals, we have received nothing but praise in how sharp and professional our documents look. One of our Customer's CEO was use to our 8550 printed documents. With the use of the ColorQube 8570, he asked, "What happened to my documents? They are so sharp and the color is more vivid."
This printer came out of the box working, were as my old Phaser 8550 did not and it took a year or so, to have a great operating printer. The ColorQube 8570DN clarity, operation and reliability is impressive, so far.
The cost of Ink is expensive, costing about $0.03/page. The Black solid Ink is less costly. It would be nice to have a Black print mode, which would drive our cost per page to $0.01 to $0.017. It would be nice for XEROX to offer a B/W colorQube MFP, operating cost should be less than the B/W Laser Jets. The B/W Laser Jets average a page cost in the $0.02 to $0.27/page range.
I would recommend this outstanding color printer for any small office. However, I do know that a local large company did purchase "a bunch" of these printers, and the feedback I have received is that the ColorQube 8570DN is very reliable and the print quality is great. So far that is my experience.
In one of the lower rating reviews for the ColorQube 8570 printer addressing the waste tray, I would suggest that it is important to understand that you are better off leaving the printer "On" 24/7. If you turn the printer "On" and "Off" all of the time, the solid ink heats and loses some of the solid ink to the tray everytime, plus your printer will print an information review of the printer, a self check for the user to see and review.
In another ColorQube 8570 low review, the user did not have shades of gray, which he had on his old printer. I do not understand that, since in running the diagnostics to "ring out" my new printer, everything, even shades of gray were perfect. If that owner has a warrantee, which they should have, they should have someone come in to check it out. Sometimes we all overlook some procedure or the fact that the orginal document does not have good contrast. Mistakes happen and so do malfunctions.

Slow to go

Once the printer gets warmed up, it works good. If it is in the sleep mode, it takes several minutes for it to get warm & print a document. Way to slow for printing receipts and on the spot request of information.
Pros: Compact Design, Reliable, Excellent Print Quality
Cons: Pricey Replacement Ink, Hard Setup, Slow Operation

Great printer but uses too much ink

Print quality is very good. Only downfall is ink does not last nearly as long as 8560 (previous printer)
Pros: Reliable, Compact Design, Easy To Use, Fast Operation, Excellent Print Quality, Easy To Setup

Beautiful Print But Slow To Warm Up
