A Great Change From Our Previous Dry Toner Color Printer

We couldn't be more pleased with our Xerox ColorQube 8570! Great color, and such a difference when compared to our previous dry toner color laser printer which was an Oki.
With the Xerox ColorQube, adding the color cubes is a breeze. There is no toner to clean up, not spilled toner, no drums, no other consumables except for the Qubes. We have had our printer for two years now, and it delivers great color, and has worked perfectly!
We couldn't be happier. Great product Xerox. No, great technology!

Very good product but slow to boot

I highly recommend this product. Its essentially a work horse. Pros: (a) The clarity in printing is great. I have seen this clarity in any other printer. (b) Its a work horse. Can print upto 500 pages a day without any issues.
The only issues I see with this product is: (a) Very slow to boot when it goes in the sleep mode. You essentially have to wait ~5 mins for printing when its rebooting or has been in the sleep mode. (b) Wastage of excess printer cartridge via the waste collector. Xerox has to come up with a way to re-use the excess ink collected in waste bin.

My Second Xerox Dry Ink Printer

I upgraded from the 8560 to the 8570, and it is as great a printer as the last one. Much more efficient use of ink, and faster "awaken" time. Plus, the eConcierge is a great feature.

I liked my older model better.

With my older model, I was able to laminate the copies - this one doesn't let me do that. It is also very slow to get ready to use and stops for short periods to warm up or something when I run a bunch of envelopes. I do like the way it does the envelopes, but not how they look when you get them back after mailing them. The ink smears when going through the postal machines. I really liked my older printer which is why I got this one. However, the colors don't seem to be as bright and prints as sharp as the older model was.I also had a problem with this machine just past the warranty. Although Xerox eventually fixed it, Xerox was very low on my list of products to recommend to anyone before that happened. It took many emails before someone directed me to a person who actually helped me. My husband has an older Phaser 6200 which is still working well, but wasn't able to get it to print from my new Mac laptop. That printer has never given us any problems.

Great Product!

I love the quality of the Xerox prints - they are flawless. The operation is a bit cumbersome as I have to print labels from a different format and printing a pdf directly from photoshop doesn't work. So I have to take a pdf into quark, write a new pdf and then print it.

Workhorse printer puts out great color copies
on May 16, 2013

The ColorQube 8570 purchase was made as a reaction to the mediocre quality of a lot of color inkjetters whose ink cartridges did not last very long and were highly problematic and slow. The Xerox printer, once it warms up, puts out great color copies consistently. The only problem I had was getting the two-sided printing turned off (I run a Mac with the printer). It is a bit on the noisy side, but after a while you do not even notice it. However, it does not pay to invest in one of these if you only need black and white copies 98% of the time. There are lots of cheaper/faster printers for that.
On the plus side,I have used it to print out color images for use in our business that made the purchase worthwhile and helped pay for it in less than a year. Also, the colored ink sticks are great, because you can really see how much ink is left.

I love my COlor Qube Printer

I've always been a fan of the solid ink printers -- back to the Tektronics days -- but with each new generation of models, they continue to get better and easier to use. This printer was easy to set up. Out of the box and ready to print in less than 30 minutes. And the print quality is fantastic.

Like my 8570
on May 17, 2013

The only drawback for the 8570 is that you have to wait for it while it warms up, but once it is warmed up, it is great, and is quite quick to print. I had an 8550 before that I really liked, but enjoy the 8570 even more. I am very pleased with this printer.
