Professional looking print quality AND environmentally friendly!

I had a Xerox Phaser previously, and used a generous trade-in offer to get the new ColorQube 8570. Yes, the ink is expensive, but I love being able to produce professional quality printed materials. I also like the fact that there are no cartridges, making the ColorQube a "green" machine. I used the affordable service contract a couple of times with my Phaser, but in general, not much goes wrong.

I am very impressed by the print speed of the 8570 - the print quality is not as good as it could be but it does great for Real Estate.

This machine has made our small organization look BIG!

The Colorcube 8570 is a great machine for small offices. It produces excellent color copies and takes up so little space in the room. The "toner" is easy to refill, clean and readily available. One drawback is the price. This machine can be a little pricey to run if you do more than 2500 prints a month, but the quality is worth. Our flyers with lots of graphics come out crystal clear, bright and fantastic looking. My colleagues think I am the best for introducing this machine to the office!

Good Color Printer

I love my ColorQube 8570 with just a few caveats: Because of the wax, color prints cannot be hot laminated without color distortion and the cost of ink makes high volume printing prohibitively expensive. Like all color printers, be warned that printed CMYK colors do not necessarily match the RGB colors on your monitor. Those problems aside this is a great little printer, small enough for a home-based office but with professional quality. I bought this for the duplexing and the solid ink producing less waste than a color laser printer and taking up less space to store backup supplies, a prime consideration when my office is a corner of my living room. I am a graphic designer/illustrator, so the density of pages I print is high, close to 100% coverage. The lifespan of a cube of ink for normal printing is good, but when printing several hundred copies of a multipage document the ink needed to be replaced mid job. I would recommend this printer for those seeking a printer with professional results for small to midsize jobs.

A good long-term investment

When my old color laser printer died, I had to get a new one that had duplexing capability in addition to low operational costs and the ability to work with both PCs, Macs and over an ethernet/wi-fi network system.
After reviewing the more conventional laser printers, all of which were either poorly designed or grossly overpriced, I opted for the Xerox ColorQube series, which has given me surprisingly good results - using a high quality paper, you can print photos that look like they came from a regular lab.
Plus, the consumables take up less space than one toner cartridge of the old laser printer.

best color quality i've ever seen

I saw the solid ink technology back in the 90's when it was owned by Tektronix. I was suitably impressed. when I needed to replace a color printer a couple of years ago, getting a Xerox solid ink product was a no-brainer. Xerox acquired the technology from Tek a while back.
I would buy another one tomorrow if this one died. the one thing that I would like is an 11x17 version of the printer.

Perfect for smaller office

This printer is perfect for a smaller office (we have 5). The printer is simple and easy to use. It requires very little attention or maintenace. We use this to print presentations occassionally and it does a nice job. I suggest the EConcierge Service. I just signed up for this with the new printer, I get an email letting me know when supplies are low.
