Colorqube 8570

My old Xerox ink stik printer finally died after 10 years faithful use. The new Colorqube 8570 is an excellent workhorse with phenominal color. The print quality rivals the best magazine covers on the market today. I own several printers, but will only use my Xerox 8570 for all my color printing needs. Absolute 5 Star rating.

Love the printer with one exception

I have used Xerox printers in the past and find the quality to be good. I do like the Qube 8570 print quality and it doesn't seem to waste as much ink as the Phaser 8560 did.. The only issue is that it is terribly noisy. I try not to print anything while I'm on the telephone.

Has great things & not so great things about it

Wax based inks look very clean and professional - except when printing light colors. Light colors pixelate and appear grainy. Also wax based ink is not optimal for envelope printing, as the ink will melt and smear when sent through mail barcoders. In essence, I love my xerox for certain things, and hate it for others.

OK Product

Had to replace the print head once (under warrenty). Very slow on start-up and dumps a lot of waste ink. Front cover is always slipping down and needs to be pushed back into place. Very noisy for in-office use. Might not be bad if placed in a common area.
I do like the color stixs better than the old ones (Phaser 8600). Seem to last longer. Color is bright. Blacks are sharp.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We use Xerox non stop at work with at least 50+ people with access to use this machine. We rarely have mechanical problems that we need assistance for. I will speak for my whole team when I say we love our Xerox!

The finished product is very crisp and clear. The color varies from the computer screen's color and it takes quite a while to actually print. But it more than suffices for our office's use.

Quality printer with great color accuracy

It has been a good hard working printer. Did a great job printing accurate colors on a flyer we had to reproduce when we ran short of commercially printed ones. Could not tell the difference between the two.
Make sure this printer is in a well ventilated area as the fumes can get strong when running quantity.
I would recommend this to a friend!
