Great quality price of Ink is a negative though

Wonderful quality product, build quality is solid and it installs/integrates easily on the network. The ink cartridges are solid ink block with very little waste but are rather expensive which means we don't use it as much as we would like to. This is why we rate this with 4 stars rather than 5. There is a delay after startup whilst the inks are prepared for printing, but if you are aware of this or using the machine continuously it really isn't a problem.
We also really appreciate the lack of 'bloated' software which masquerades as 'installation' software with some competitor products.

Great quility

We have used Xerox solid ink printers for over 10 years (previously Techtronic) and have been very happy with the reliability of the printer and impressed by the quality of the reproduction. The new Colorqube is a step on and we are delighted with the results.

Vibrant colours and ease of use.

This printer provides extraordinary quality for the money. The solid colour cube system is fantastic and avoids users coming into contact with contaminants. It is therefore very clean and easy to use. The speed of printing is excellent. The only issue found with the machine is the time it takes to warm up after being powered off but you soon get used to that. We use this machine to provide high quality small volume brochures. The results are very impressive and our customers are impressed too which means that in all we are very happy with our investment.

Xerox ColorQube 8570, Great Print Results with Solid Ink

I had a Xerox Phaser 8560 previously and I personally think you cannot beat solid ink printing results

Big Improvement

We replaced an ageing colour laser printer with this machine and it is a marked improvement.
The colour quality on prints is excellent and works well on any quality paper, with booklets being printed in house now rather than being sent to an outside printer.
Adding new ink blocks, cleaning the waste tray and generally maintaining the machine is very easy and much safer than regular laser printers due to the non-toxic nature of the consumables.
While the time for the first page to be printed is longer due to the warm up time, once it has started, the speed is very good.

Does the job

What more could I want than a printer that does the job. A few little frustrating things like the tray 1 feed, switching to tray 2when it runs out and staying on tray 2 when 1 is refilled... and the way that i magles envelopes with its sinding paper path ... but...

The ColorQube 8570 has been a big improvement over the Phaser 8560 which was our color printer prior. The printout are better, the ink last longer. It works for our ofifice.
