Love that there is far less waste

Printed off 300 double sided fliers shortly after ordering the Colorcube 8570.
Little fearful that my new printer would be up the job. It exceeded expectations. Takes a bit to warm up for the first job of the day, but once the wax is warm it is good to go.
Love the color, but especially love that there is far less waste going to the landfill in cartridges, even if there are recycling depots.

This product has great features

Having used Xerox printers in the past the ColorQube8570 is a great step forward.
For a start no large ink cartridges to dispose of.The solid ink blocks are simple to use and install and if you keep the unit powered there is practically no waste.With the old printers you were never sure when the ink would run out with the cube you just open the door. Print quality and speed is of a high standard.
I have found no faults with the machine and would have no hesitation in recommending the ColorQube8570

Had I realized it HAD to be connected to the internet in order to print I would not have purchased it.

The quality of the wax -VS- toner is outstanding.
The speed of the machine is impressive.
However, I didn't see anything in the shiny broachers that lead me to conclude that the printer had to be connected to the internet in order for it to print. So, although it may be an awesome printer in most all other respects it is an expensive albatross as far as I am concerned.
I find it all rather vexing.

The ColorQube 8570 does not require you to connect via the internet, you can do so through the USB port. Directions can be found on page 31 of the user guide: http://xrx.sm/BL9.

EXPENSIVE BOAT ANCHOR

Unless you are REALLY savvy, when and if you need to change your router or modem, this printer will become an EXPENSIVE BOAT ANCHOR.

Exceeds print quality requirements with notable customer recognition. Customer service presents a sense of true partnership with consideration for our business needs at both a personal and professional level. Calls are not answered using a rehearsed script, support representatives listen and are empowered to quickly solve requests. Highly recommend!

I am very happy with the quality and speed of this printer. Outshines any Injlet or Laser printer I have ever used. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone. Very good price for what you get.

Three points in order to help you make a decision:
1) Costs$$$ - a simple lower overall price, while still preserving quality. The printer uses ink, rather than traditional toner cartridges: cleaner, simple to install and easier to store. Also a lot less mess.
2) Shhh! - This printer is very quiet, an important consideration in any open studio environment.
3) Quality - Great print run, with a higher than standard print finish. More than good enough for internal work and client presentations.
So good, we now own two and will be adopting these printers as replacements for all our other printer needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent print quality from the box

This printer has excellent colour and print quality straight from the box, and the clean, no fuss solid inks make for an easy maintenance product.
My only criticism is on speed at first start from sleep, since the printer does seem to have a long wake up time. If this is not a problem for you then I can't hesitate to recommend it.
Oh, and by the way, don't hot laminate the prints!
