This thing always breaks

IT a good thing we got support because we know him by first name now and even hes tired of this machines. Maybe its a dud but either way were stuck with it! with support luckily.

Love this machine!

We have used Xerox printers in our gym since 2003. We had a phaser 8400 for 7 years that performed great for us. We then purchased the ColorQube 8570 at the beginning of 2011 and absolutely love it. The installation is extremely quick. we had it up and printing within 5 mintues of delivery. The copies print beautifully and very quickly. Being a gym , we need a fast, acurate printer to print contracts and billing forms and have not had 1 negative experience with this printer. I highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a new printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

One Tiny Exception

This is my second Xerox printer for home use. It is even better and easier to use than the first (if that even seems possible!) I have only one extremely small suggestion and that is: In the print window, under Xerox Features, would it be possible to allow your choice of print quality to remain selected until changed by the user instead of automatically going back to the default setting? Thank you for a product that meets my every need in speed and quality printing.

This printer is great for any small business or professional who need crisp quality colors for reports, graphs, maps, or just spot color on invoices or letter head. The beauty of the Xerox ColorQube is the wax based inks that are waterproof and don't bleed - particularly important if your documents are ever exposed to the outdoor elements. The sleep but always ready mode is great for saving power and ink. Perhaps most impressive, is the Xerox Service Warranty - when I got my printer, a piece of wax ink came loose during transport and jammed one of the mechanisms. I phoned Xerox, their local technician promptly called me back, I took the machine to him and it was fixed in 2 days no charge. Apparently, this type of service is for as long as I own the machine. How do you beat that!

Better The Second Time Around

The ColorQube 8570 is the second printer I bought from Xerox, the first was an 8560. I soon discovered the 8570 to be much quieter and it does not use as much ink on standby. Also, the software is much improved which makes the printer much easier to use. I bought the 8560 to be used in a small business and bought the 8570 two years ago when the business was sold. Though the Xerox representative was reluctant to sell a ColorCube to an individual making fewer copies a month, it was the right choice for me.
By the way, look at the new service contract, it seems too good to be true, but I believe that it is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible Printer

This is the worst printer we have ever used!!! I work in a school and it’s such a slow machine!!!! We've only had it 2 years and it totally died yesterday! Won't even turn on or do anything. Appalling printer is all I can say!!!!

Solid Printer - Good Workplace workhorse

Printer is very solid with excellent print quality. My only con is that the printer is rather noisy... but it is so fast the noise does not last too long.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Aspect of the printer

To say about negative aspects, it takes time to warm up and it's noisy printing every page. Inks are quite expensive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In regards to your warm-up concerns, your device may be set to warm up when you first print. We have solutions that include the option to have it warm up at a set time, or through our patented Intelligent Ready power management feature, which "learns" your unique print usage patterns.
