Great MFP EXCEPT I wish that the accessory tray could accommodate 8X10 photo paper instead of having to load it in the cassette tray each time you want to use it...of course one forgets to remove the remaining sheets from the cassette tray when done printing and guess what? you use some photo paper unnecessarily!

Very easy to install and set up. I connected it directly yo a home computer and to two other laptops via thw wireless setup. The instructions were great and it worked perfectly the first time on all computers. It prints scans and copies excellent. I have not tried photos or fax yet.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, Sharp Tones & Colors, easy to use
Cons: High Ink Consumption

The PIXMA has outperformed my previous printer from a name brand. It is quick, trouble free and has great quality prints. I would definitely buy this again!
Pros: very easy to change ink, very easy to set-up for wireless, great looking prints
Cons: a little slow when calibrating ink cartridges
I would recommend this to a friend!

This All-in-one Printer is perfectly priced for the features it offers. Canon did a marvelous job with its easy set-up, step by step instructions. The network wireless feature is as advertised, seamless and works like a charm. The glossy pictures print is not so good but over all ... we're EXTREMELY satisfied with this product!

Stopped Printing With Wi-Fi
on July 7, 2012

Printing wirelessly has been sketchy at best since i bought it, i really on use it 1-3 times per month, already bought new ink as the other ink dried out apparently after about 6 months. Kept getting "printer not responding" in the printing queue, then 10 min later it would print anyway. Now, it does nothing, although Wi-Fi is still enabled and illuminated on the printer. i have re-established connections a dozen times, turned on and off, no luck. finally had to connect to it with a usb in order for it to print. it's been a headache for sure. would not recommend.
Pros: Easy Setup, High Quality Output
Cons: Slow Print Speed, Large Footprint, unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
