Expected good copying and scanning

Copy and scanner functions crop documents, very noticeable on forms where printed material goes close to the document edge. Faxing function easy to use and works well.
Pros: Easy Setup, easy to use
Cons: copy cropping, scanning cropping
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great home office printer

I have owned the printer for over a year. Just came to the website to remind myself how to change the ink cartridges, so I thought I would add a review. I use the printing and scanning features regularly and have been happy with the ease of use and quality. I love that it is wifi. I had too much clutter on my desk, so I put it on a cart in the closet. It is amazing what you can get for not that much money with this printer.
Pros: Small Footprint, High Quality Output, easy to use
Cons: Slow Print Speed

Great Printer overall

Great printer. The only problem is that sometimes it takes a while to process the print job, which can be a problem in a small business setting.
Also, having trouble with the new software. My computer is not finding the printer for some reason.
Otherwise, I love the quality of the copies, printed materals, and the scanner, whether it's photos or pictures, the scanner is AWESOME!
Pros: reliable, High Quality Output, easy to use
Cons: Slow Print Speed

slowest printer on the planet

I have never seen a slower multifunction printer in my life. it takes 10 minutes to print a fax confirmation. Printing is the same whether wireless or wired. If you don't waiting forever for a job to come out buy this.

Loved this machine; has excellent print quality, is fast, has many printing features like double sided letter/landscape, correlates as well. photo print is high quality as well. Available port for camera card insertion is a great feature... no wires to connect way in back of printer. Overall, a great product.
Pros: Fast auto-focus, Super-sharp images

I have used this multi-function printer- copier- scanner- fax at home for four years with no problems. I did not use the copy function very often because we have a Canon copier model NP 1020 that we bought new in the 1980s and is still going strong. The quality of the copier influenced our decision to buy Canon multi-function printers.
It is easy to set the fax to work on our home phone line. I find the speed dial utility easy to use. So far, I have 26 speed dial numbers which I use frequently.
The WiFi feature is awesome. With two desktops,two laptops, and three iPads, having a WiFi Printer on our home network simplified things. I found an app that makes it possible to print from iPads and iPhones.
I also like the rear paper tray. I keep envelopes there because I am always printing postage and addresses. My handwriting has become shaky in my senior years. I do all my correspondence by computer. If I have to send information by mail, I use a word processor and print it.
The ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) used for scanning and faxing makes it so easy because I don't have to lift the top of the scanner to place the document on the platen.
Another feature I use frequently is to scan an item and attach it to email.
All of the functions are easy to use because of the color display screen which guides you through the process.
Pros: Fast auto-focus, Superior build quality, Super-sharp images

This printer/fax/scan/copy is the most awesome printer yet I have had. It is now 3 years and not once have I had a glitch!
