One of my gentlemen is a bit larger and we had to let the strap completely out. that is the only thing that is a bit concerning. I know it would not be long enough for a very large man.

The combination of the Defender case and the Utility Series Latch II makes for a very useful carry system. I am in an electric wheel chair and this device makes it really easy for me to transport and use my I pad. thank you very much. The pouch is large enough to carry the charging cord for the I pad and my cell phone, a big plus.

The Utility latch would be better if it went through the defender case rather than just behind it. As it currently works the corner bands are actually pulling itself and the defender case corners from the iPad. Also the satchels fabric attachments could be sturdier and the satchel could be easier to put on and take off as needed.

The only difficulty I had with the product was in separating the accessory bag from the Latch II.
I have arthritis in my hands and found the small nite-zee clips very difficult to get off the cloth loops.
I am thinking about putting split rings on the loops to help me.

After several years I finally purchased the Utility Series Latch for the iPad 2 and like most products from Otter Box I was not disappointed. The product was easy to install and added a little extra versatility to the things we do with our iPad. The kids love that they can easily hold the ipad with one hand and I'm not so worried about them dropping it. The only downside I see on the item are the rubber like materials used to hold the Utility Latch onto the iPad. There seems to be a lot of tension on these straps and they look like they might rip at any time. By readjusting these straps and the elastic straps they are secured to and making sure the load is being distributed evenly among the four straps it doesn't seem as bad, but there is still alot of tension. Hopefully, these straps are more durable than they seem and my concerns are unwarranted, but time will tell. Otherwise, it's a great product.
