I use my Galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition for work. I use the camera to take several pictures of a house and have it stored in a trident protective case. Using this latch was a great idea and works well however, when using the camera feature 2 things happen. 1. Your fingers are in the way most of the time. (easy fix by repositioning your fingers). 2. The edge of the main center portion of the latch gets so close when you use it that the flash bounces off of the edge and causes a shadow or flash back on the picture. The only way to prevent this was to use my thumb and pull the back down away from the camera lens. (not comfortable to do this action when moving from one photo to the next)
It did not make sense to use because it was defeating the purpose for which I bought the product. Which was a holder in my hand without falling off and allowing me to use my laser measure for the other part of my job.
The round storage pouch I liked as well however, when I got it, it was not large enough to store my measuring device which was a let down.
Fix the camera interference and make the storage bag 1/3rd larger and ill get another one. Perhaps a cut out section for the camera much the same as the protective case I have uses. Also don't forget that people like myself will use a very durable protective case if you had a series like defender or the Preserver Better yet a COMBINE THE 2. I use mine in blizzard here (literally) in 2013/2014 season (Rochester, NY) and rain is an issue. I cannot dictate weather so I have to do my work regardless and need to protect my tablet.

This product works the best for our needs but it has a design flaw that makes it break over time. The rubber straps are too thin where they connect to the nylon straps on each corner. The ten I ordered are just replacement for latches that have failed on one or multiple corners.

This is the second unit in 4 years. While a terrific product when it’s new the elastic corners wear very fast. I have had to substitute elastic bands in the field on one of the units. I was able to return one to my office before the second one broke. My current utility latch was purchased by myself, only so I can hold Otter box accountable when it fails next year as I know they will replace it.
