[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer to replace two older and smaller freezers. Completely satisfied with my choice.

I have had this Whirlpool 22cf chest freezer for several years and it works great. I don't go into it much and there is no ice inside. The only problem I have, and it can be a real pain, is the baskets fall into the freezer very easily. They don't take very much weight and the tabs on the ends that hold it in place are no long enough. When you load the basket, one side will fall down and jam into the freezer. After unloading the basket and working it loose, you can get pretty frustrated when you figure out the baskets are mostly useless. I like the alarm, though I can't hear it, due to the very high pitch, others can. What good is a power light if something else is wrong? The low temp warning could save your food and $$. Wish they made a larger size.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is working fine, since we got it two months ago. Runs quiet. There are four baskets, but two are not meant to stay on the top. They just fit loosely below.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace our old freezer that was about 25 years old. So nice that the lid doesn't fall down on my head every time I open it! I still wish Whirlpool would design a chest freezer that still had the top lid, but had pull out drawers from the outside, so that you can reach food at the bottom easier. Still waiting for that!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the chest freezer because the upright was always full and hard to find foods. I am thrilled with the space in the chest freezer and the baskets that help keep food sorted and separated.
