Excellent Smart TV

I won this Samsung Smart TV at a sales contest and I am very pleased with its overall performance. It has an excellent picture, high-quality sound, a wide selection of popular, updated apps, pairs nicely with the home theatre system, and it looks good in the family room. The only cons are reflective glare, and its a little slow to process. Hopefully this will improve with updates in the future!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: shiny reflections, slow internet processing
I would recommend this to a friend!

I know plasma's have a little stigma about them, but this TV has been great. I've had it over a year and not had any problems.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good price but medium performance

Love Samsung products and replaced my aging 40" LCD Samsung TV with this 51" monster. Colour and picture are just great and a very good price.
But you get what you pay for, was a little disappointed in this Samsung TV. Screen glare on the TV during the day is hard on the eyes. Screen can be a little dark and certain scenes as mentioned by another reviewer goes very dark at times and then bright when the scene changes, very irritating. This happens even though you switch off all the settings like dynamic, and eco etc
Did a lot of adjustments and found that setting the Game Mode to ON made the TV bright and kept it there. It does sometimes flicker brightness on a dark scene but it happens minimally now.
No composite audio out, only digital audio but it does not pass through Dolby 5.1 so it's no use plugging your devices into the TV and then optical out to a 5.1 amp, it must be the other way round. You would then use the optical audio to the amp only for any AllShare media streaming or SmartHub apps
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations

First 3D TV I've used, and I like it. Still working out what it has to offer in the form of apps and services though.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Good plasma tv for the value, plus the extra features like watching files via usb drive. Only issue is when it gets cold it needs a warm up time for it to function properly.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable
Cons: needs to warm up when weather gets cold
