After My husband installed the Samsung PN51D550 PLASMA HDTV and set the picture, contrast , color and brightness and black level , we watched the old 1953 classic (Giant ) in HD starring James Dean , Rock Hudson and Elizabeth Taylor. We both dropped our jaws at how real they all looked, as if they were still alive and we were just watching them through a window and this was not 3D just 2D .We cannot imagine any HDTV regardless of the price that can make the movies characters look more real and alive than this HDTV and this is not even Samsung's top model. Simply amazing , keep up the good work Samsung and we can't wait to get our 3D glasses, they are on back order will send review when the come. Thanks a MILLION !!

This is my first plasma and it is awesome! I was looking for a LED but found this for half of the price of an LED. With the money I saved I bought the BD-6500 3D Blu-ray player that has the SmartHub features. Plenty of video/audio inputs. I have satellite TV and the SD content still looks good! HD is amazing. I wasn't looking for 3D but it was included in this unit. Bonus! There is a 3D button on remote that you press and it makes HD into 3D. I still have yet to get an actual 3D blu-ray and try that yet.
Overall I am VERY happy with TV!!!!

everything is great except when you set up pandora or similar you use you remote like txting on a phone.

Best money I ever espent on a TV. Picture will put a "wow" in you mouth! Great high end features for the price, picture equals that of high end plasmas.
