Just recently bought this tv and I was amazed how easy it was to put together and get started. The pcture is amazing and the colors are so bright. This is really a great tv if you are on a budget. The ability to change from 3D to 2D is really simple and smooth.
Just got the tv today , great picture ,I have not used 3d yet but, its a great tv without. The thing that wowed me was you can control the ps3 with the tv anynet+
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: na
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is an excellent TV with great picture and great audio. If you are looking for a reasonably priced TV this is a great one to purchase. The only gripe I have about it is that like all plasma TV's this one is not as bright as my Samsung LED but still has spectacular image quality and design.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, no motion blur
Cons: not as bright as led tv
I would recommend this to a friend!

Samsung 550 51" Plasma TV

We've had this tv about 16 days now. This is the size (about 50") and type (plasma) tv we were shopping for. The 3D capability is an unexpected bonus, and works surprisingly well on converting 2D programming to 3D. Plus the 2 sets of glasses were included at no extra cost. One thing, though; it does not work well with the ATT U-verse cable system while using the HDMI inputs; there was a lot of loud, random banging noises until I rewired it using the component video/audio inputs. That solved the problem. Also, I have an older Toshiba HDD/DVR that freezes when it is connected to an HDMI input; I also had to use component inputs to connect that and retain its use. A newer Panasonic DVR/VCR seems to work okay with the HDMI input; I hope so, because there are only 2 component input choices and they are both already in use. We output the sound to a JVC digital surround system using the toslink connector, so the built-in speakers are not used, and their inadequacy is not a problem. I like that the weight is not too heavy; our last tv, a 36" Toshiba CRT, weighed about 190 lbs.
