There is no remote for this product. The base stand is situated at the centre, instead there should be at both the ends, which will prevent the speaker for falling down

PERFECT bedside docking station!!

I love this product. It's extremely modern appearance and streamline design make it a perfect fit for anybody's style. It's features are brilliant and the app designed to enhance use is a must have. This station makes your bedside alarm clock obsolete. I could not be happier. So glad I got the Phillips compared to the Bose.
Cons: needs a remote.

Simple, compact, and great sound. I do have to remember to turn off the iPod, when I turn off the dock. I do have a little difficult placing the iPod on the dock with my arthritic fingers, but my husband doesn't have a problem. We use it to listen to music on the outside patio.

Battery won't recharge after only a few uses and doesn't work with all iPods

Very disappointed, not up to Philips standars. It worked ok for a few weeks, then battery wouldn't recharge. You have to use a proprietary philips app to play music and it crashes sometimes. Because it needs the app it will not work with ipod nanos so the "all ipods" bit in the marketing is not true. The aux port did not work well... made popping sounds and the overall sound was just ok.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
