Serch for movies using TV screen is slow but you get exact titles.
Pros: Easy to use, Compact, High quality picture, Great value, Video selection, Reliability, Easy to set up, Description of movie, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Need fast internet service, No on and off switch

I watch a movie every night, maybe 2. Much better than movie channels on cable, but I need 2 remotes to watch TV.

I'm still amazed by today's technology. Stuff like this was considered futuristic when I was a kid 50+ years ago. Anyone who remembers rabbit ears or roof top TV antennas will love this little box. Nice job ROKU!

My girlfriend bought my the XD for my birthday and I must say that I haven't been this happy in overall performance from any device ever. It is a wonderful device! No noisy moving parts just the bare essentials and what most Apple fan boys boast about but don't produce is exactly what the Roku does and that is "work". This device just works. From the install which could be done by a chimp to the managing of channels and online media it never poses a problem. I have found the remote to be a beautiful addition because of it's simplicity the learning curve is non-existent. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone so if you are reading this review my suggestion would be to go for it, you won't regret it.

best entertainment decision i've made

Great gadget for all the stated reason. You'll want to have it wired to your home router. I had performance problems when I used it as a Wifi device to stream movies, streaming video would often pause in mid-stream causing movies to pause. I moved my cable modem and router to my living room, and wired the Roku to the router; performance problems solved. Now I can stream movies without the annoying pauses. Of course, I had to install a wireless card in my desktop pc 'cause I moved the cable modem and router to a different room. Now my desktop pc is the Wifi device, not the Roku. It's ok though. Of the two, I use the Roku more often....

Cons: Want more video choices, Need fast internet service, Wifi performance problems
