I use this product to watch mainly Hulu, Netflix, and YouTube. I have owned it for a month and a half and am extremly pleased. As far as my positive comments are concerned ill explain those first than the negative. Positives 1. More Channels Than Apple Tv 2. 1080p streaming 3. Wireless N WIFI 4. Easy Setup and Connection 5. 20 dollars less than apple tv same features 6. Need I explain Negatives 1.Better Remote-Specifically one with some sort of keyboard maybe like tivo or the vizio internet app tvs. this would make searching netflix and rokus other servies faster and easier than having to scroll through the onscreen keyboard. 2. Wireless Connectivity- (Note This can also have to do with your connection or router so the fault does not lye solely on roku.) that being said more than a couple times i have been unable to connect, had a dropped connection in the middle of the movie, or had it slow so much the quality was barley watchable. 95% of the time a simple unplug fixes it so its a minor quibble but one nonetheless.
Pros: High quality picture, Video selection, Easy to set up, Great value, Built in Wi-Fi, Compact
Cons: Inconsistent performance, Difficult to use

Out of the box, this unit took only a few minutes to hook up. I like that you can customize your home screen to display favorite channels. Although not advertised (to my knowledge), I was pleasantly surprised to find [@] is an available channel. I think there are two cons, the first just goes with the territory and cannot be blamed on Roku:1) Video quality is not as good as DVD. Definitely acceptable, enjoyable, and all that.2) If you find your Roku is having to reload movies while viewing, move the box several inches. While this was an easy fix for me, it seems strange that the wireless could be termpermental enough that moving a few inches eliminated the problem.This is a fantastic product. Well worth the money!

Cons: Vid quality less than DVD

We ended up buying two of these to have in our bedroom and the living room. It works great so my son can watch his kids programs and my husband and I can catch up on movies and shows. I like the different programs in it. I love knowing what movies are out and can watch previews.
