Easy and Convenient

Roku is really easy and convenient and lets us watch Netflix movies and tv shows instantly. I would highly recommend this product. We just wish we didn't have to buy another model to be able to view shows in another room.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Video selection, Easy to set up, Great value, Compact, Easy to use, High quality picture, Reliability

I have never had a lot of time or interest in watching television and rarely go to the movies. But now and then I want to sit back and relax. Cable & Satellite TV was an improvement but within a few weeks there was noting new to watch. Repeats of anything good and so much garbage. At last, this system gives me access to fantastic choices of quality programs, and documentary productions to watch when I want, and for how long I want to watch. Within a few days, my Netflix "Watch Instantly List" had over 150 selections in my personal Queue. Thank you for a great product which we have now installed in 3 rooms.

The content we now use is only Netflix but Great !!
Pros: Video selection, High quality picture, Quality of production
Cons: Remote difficult to aim, Box remote must be perfec, Inconsistent performance, Difficult to use, Must reboot often, Nearly returnd setup issu, Difficult to set up, Remote too precise

The search function helps me find the movies that I want and those for my grandkids in a very easy manner. Love it!

Small but poweful

very simple to use. it has to be for 84 year olds.Nice mix of movies including documentaries I hadn't seen before. It's a great improvement over TV movies with no commercials. Great entertainment.

Really great media device. Lots of selection especially if you investigate the private channels for it. I already purchased some as gifts for my extended family. Netflix is a must-have for this to be worth anything but at just $8 a month you have to check it out. I would have given this 5 stars but the latest software is completely unreliable. At least once a day I have to wait for the Roku to restart because it locked itself up. This happens most often when switching channels, like from Pandora to Netflix, and does not happen while in the middle of viewing/listening which is why I am not completely upset over it. The XD feature improvements over the HD are well worth the extra [$], but I don't know if the XD|S is worth the premium.
