I love Roku, so bought a 2nd one for another room. I bought the XD to go with my new 60" flat screen 3D HDTV, mainly because it was advertised to be 1080p. A little disappointed that it's still only putting out 720p like the old HD Roku that I bought when it first came on the market. Other than that ... I still love the unit --- both of them.
Pros: Easy to use, Easy to set up, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Not 1080p as advertised

Needs HDCP reset and/or power button

Ahh... the dreaded Roku "Green Screen." When I change inputs on my TV, the connection loses its HDCP authentication and the picture reverts to a green screen. Since there's no power button on the remote, I have to get up and unplug cables to get the connection back. I don't own any other electronic device that doesn't have an "off" button.
Pros: Easy to set up, Great value, Compact, High quality picture
Cons: No power button

ROKU was easy to setup ... easy to use. The freedom to watch whatever, whenever is a real plus.

I love this product. We originally had a Samsung BD-P1600 with Netflix and Blockbuster but that wasn't enough for our entertainment needs. Now that we have this, we've added our usual channels plus Hulu Plus is a big plus for us. Overall, I would recommend this player to everyone and anyone who needs a all in one box.
Pros: Selections of channels, Hulu Plus, Fast to turn on
Cons: Sometimes restart

Great entertainment value, way better than cable movie channels. You will not be disappointed. This one is for my bedroom. I already have one for the living room.
