The most fun I've had with my TV!

I bought the Roku XD to bring entertainment to an upstairs bedroom. I have a small flat panel TV mounted on the wall, so the Roku was a good fit in a small space. I mounted it to the wall with a couple velcro strips. I don't watch a lot of television, so cable TV is a huge waste of money for me. Roku introduced me to Pandora, which is now my second favorite app after Netflix! Sometimes I wish the Roku was a bit more responsive. It can feel a little sluggish when booting or loading an app. I don't like that it has no power switch, so I turn off its power strip when it's not in use to save electricity. This means I need to wait for it to boot every time I want to use it. For its size and light weight, though, it's an amazing deal. I compared Roku to all its major competitors and it came out on top in terms of price and features. I'd give it five stars if it was just a little bit speedier.

Cons: Slow to boot, Always on, Slow navigation sometimes

I like that it does netflix easily but I love that there are many other choices as well.

Best technology investment ever

I watch a lot of movies and also like to get certain news programing when I have the time to watch it. I started using Padagonia Radio this weekend and really enjoyed it.
Pros: Reliability, Easy to set up, High quality picture, Video selection, Variety of entertainment, Built in Wi-Fi, Compact, Great value, Easy to use

It provides a world of entertainment for us. We are senior citizens, and can't get out as much as we used to. Now we can have a reliable source of entertainment, right here, at home.
