I am streaming about 20 feet through 2 walls from my AT&T DSL "G" router. Using HDMI into an Onkyo 875 then to a Sony 60 inch TV. When I am at 1.5 Mbps (Best I can get out here) the picture is very good. I was not sure it would work, but am so glad to be able to have so much choice from Netflix, and Roku. Now, please get captioning so my father can enjoy it more.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, High quality picture, Reliability, Easy to set up, Video selection, Compact, Great value
Cons: Need fast internet service, Want more video choices, No closed captioning

Hello Roku... Goodbye cable

Have been frustrated with cable/satellite/fios as the only choices for TV/movies. Not happy with having to take large worthless packages to get the few channels that you really want. As the new offerings from Roku continue to roll-out, cable becomes obsolete.

use mostly for Netflix and Pandora. Not crazy about the fast forward or rewind but i can live with it. On occasion the unit will lock up, i have to unplug and replug.

After accidently discovering Roku and doing research on streaming video, I settled on Roku. I am very glad that I did. It does everything that I was looking for and more. It does more than I have time to do. The quality of the experience is outstanding. I look forward to a long association with Netflix and Roku.
