Needs more functionallity on remote such as power and pause (netflix). Needs alpha numeric key pad.
Pros: Great value, Compact, High quality picture
Cons: Difficult to set up, Want more video choices

i've only used the netflix part of my roku. i would appreciate an explanation of how to use all the other options. i have no idea about the cost or what all the other programs have to offer. i really do like the convience of being able to watch whatever i choose whenever i want.

So easy to set up! I bought this primarily to view Netflix movies but I love the Pandora, LastFM and tunein radio music channels too. I am looking forward Hulu Plus. XM/Sirius connection in convoluted, direct connection with them would make this the PERFECT device for my home intertainment needs!

My Roku is great!

We wanted the product to use in one of our back bedrooms that gets a weaker signal when we use our laptops there. We hoped the extended range would boost the signal enough to pick up fine there but we still have issues. Other than that we love it and it is easy enough for the kids to use and I like being able to use it for more than just a netflix player.
Pros: Compact, Reliability, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to set up, Video selection, Great value, Easy to use
Cons: Want more video choices, Weak signal, Inconsistent performance

So close to greatness

This product was my first strictly TV based effort at watching streaming video. I bought it on [...]for 40% off the retail price and I have really enjoyed it since. The unit itself has never given me any probelms except that it doesn't turn off and only enters a hibernate type mode. This isn't really a probelm unless you are worried about electricity consumption but I guess it is better than waiting for it to reconnect to the wireless network everytime you turn it on. 4.49 out of 5 stars.
Pros: Hdmi, High quality picture, Built in Wi-Fi, Built for Ninjas, Shoryuken, Easy to set up, Easy to use, Reliability, Compact
Cons: Want more video choices, Netflix has poor search

This is in use as my primary media device in my bedroom and media room, and have one for my girlfriend, as she was amazed how easy it is to use. It does what it says it will do, and it does it well.
