Overall good, but...

Wish it had a wider variety of newer shows available. Works good but crashes after a couple hours of constant viewing of Hulu Plus.
Pros: Compact, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, High quality picture, Easy to set up
Cons: Inconsistent performance, Want more video choices

Needs an on/off switch to allow additional use of video plugs.

I am disabled and am pretty much home bound so the selections of movies is great with netflex since I can not afford premium channels on TV. It gives me more choices. It is easy to use once I got it set up. It is a great compact size. This is a great product if you were going through a PS3 to watch netflex. It took the ware and tear away from that. I do like that if I had the money I can watch the other pay channels that Roku offers.

Cons: No tech support number, One room only, Difficult to set up, Need netgear codes, Inconsistent performance, Need 2 know wireless code

My new Roku is great

Very nice product. The conveniance far outweighs a slight degradation of video quality, which may be dependent upon age of digital movie watched. Some movies appear better resolution then others. I have also on occasion experienced movie stopping, stalling, then after some time restarting.

I originally bought the Roku for Amazon Unbox and Netflix streaming. I use it primarily for Amazon as my Xbox, TV, and receiver all have built-in Netflix streaming and it takes less work to use them. I found the Roku API to be somewhat lackluster, and most of the channels are pretty bland. I was also disappointed that I can't stream video from my computer or anything else like that. That'd be kind of nice. The one thing that I do adore about it, however, is the ease of use. I also love the price point.
