I bought this product with the hopes of watching mlb.tv as I am a fan of a team living in a different city. The roku set up process was impossible and support was not helpful. After having me rebuild my entire wireless network throughout my house, I finally decided to try an Apple TV. The set up was seamless and I was up and running in 4 minutes. I did have one question, so I called Apple support. Their support was much better and easier to understand being that I didn't get transferred to a call center in India. All in all, I'm an Apple guy and should have tried them first. No Thanks ROKU.
Cons: Difficult to set up, Awful Support
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Netflix Junkie's Dream!

The Roku is truly the film fanatic and Netflix fan's dream.I was watching Netflix streaming on my PS3 when I began to have trouble signing in to their network.I ran to [...] and the sales person recommended the RokuXD. I was taken aback by it's low price. The HDMI cables cost more! I was impressed that this small machine was capable of more then Netflix. When I saw all tthe channels it offered I knew this was a gem!After the very easy set-up I spent 4 hours just going through the different content it offered!In closing the Roku is easy to set up and use. It has much more steak and very little sizzle; it is small and nondescript looking. The remote is small and very basic yet simple. I couldn't be more satisfied!

I love to watch movies, and this is a terrific medium!! It's so affordable--inexpensive to use--saves LOTS on time, money and relaxation instead of going to the theatre.

Always buy the named brand of the product, you will get better service if you need service, I didn't do this & was treated very badly by the partner company & it almost soured me on the Roku period but Roku service helped me & it was a great experience....
