We are elderly and cant doo much these days. It is so wonderful to have so much various intertainment . LOVE IT MUCH. Keep up the great work of providing the greatese intertainment. Wish to have LIVE CNN NEWS in the near future. PLEASE.

Makes me wonder why I have paid megabucks for cable for so long! Recieved erroneous installation instructions from sales staff and Ruko live chat was right there to walk me through it. A great experience when you use the tools available.
Pros: Great value, Easy to use, High quality picture, Video selection, Compact, Easy to set up

I bought my Roku so I could get out of market MLB games on my TV. It works great for this, but now I also use it to watch movies, TV shows, documetaries, etc... I researched other simialr products and decided to buy the Roku and have never regretted it. In fact it has exceeded my expectations. Would recommend it to a friend or stranger and would recommend it to you.

Simply Amazing

My wife and I decided to get rid of DirecTv back in March of this year (could not justify paying $110 and only viewing 5 channels, not including local channels). We knew people were able to watch Netflix through an XBox or Wii and had considered getting one, but I am not a gamer so after seeing Roku, my wife bought one and we have been up and running since July 4th. I love this and recommend it to everyone we know.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, Compact, Great value, Easy to set up, Reliability, Video selection, High quality picture
Cons: More Live Content

Worst customer service ever!!!

This is the worst customer experience I've ever had. I could barely understand the Indian customer service representatives and they were rude and unhelpful. This device simply is an exercise in frustration when trying to get it to work with Apple products (i.e. an Apple wireless network device such as an Airport). I am VERY experienced in technology having been a web developer since 1994, and even I could not get these devices to be compatible. The customer service reps treated my like a child... I let them, just to try all possible solutions, but when their shift was nearing an end, they simply hung up on me. When I called back, the hours had closed and no one picked up the phone. I will N E V E R use a Roku product again and encourage everyone to avoid them at all costs. I'll be returning this unusable device and getting what I should have gotten in the first place, an Apple TV player.
Pros: NONE
Cons: Difficult to use, Not Apple-friendly, Difficult to set up
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

could not connect to wi-fi and every time we use it we have to disconnect and reconnect power supply

Didn't Work !!

I purchased a Roku HD it works wonderfully. Picked up a Roku XD. Bad idea. According to web over-heating is a problem. And website isn't the best place to solve problems. Lucky for me, I ordered it from[...]. Was able to send it back for a full refund.
Pros: Compact
