I am handicapped and watching TV is one of the things I enjoy to do most. With Roku I not only get my netflix much easier and better I get tons of other choices to use. Such as Hulu,MOG etc. I love this little device and it has paid for itself many times over. It is GREAT!

Cons: Want more video choices

Not a Moments regret!

I bought my Roku because I couldnt afford to buy an expensive Game console just to enjoy Netflix on my Big Screen TV. Ive not had a moments regret since. It arrived in a timely fashion, was VERY affordably priced.It was extremely easy to set up and very easy to use. It has expanded my movie choices,and is so simple anyone in my home can easily operate it. I am usually a sceptic when companies offer so much for so little but believe me, this is no scam. The product provides everything it claims to and even more. The only problems I have encountered are minimal and not the fault of the unit, but of the internet providers. In the months I have owned this unit, when the Netflix encounters this problem, it also shows up on my Netflix computer connection. Still it doesnt occur enough to make it a problem for me. I chose the XD model mostly for the improved HD it offers also it has an extended WiFi range, allowing me to use it on any TV in my home. Once you use the upgraded remote, its hard to enjoy one without the instant replay feature on the XD model. I recommended it to my Employer, who ordered 2 for his home. Since it is my responsibility to keep things running smoothly in his home, I love it because it is virtually maintainance free. If given the chance to change my mind, I would go with this product again without hesitation. I hereby recommend to anyone out there looking, as I was, for a way to watch Netflix or any other online movie provider on their Home TV, purchase either the XD or HD model of this product. I leave out the XDS model only because I cant recommend them from personal experience. I will say this though, judging from the quality of the two models I have had experience with, the XDS model can only be equally as good. Thank you Roku for such a fine product.

am amazed at how easy and quick it was to set up roku...5 minutes out of the box and was checking weather and watching a movie on NETFLIX...this is so cool, thanks for a great product. will be telling everyone about ROKU

Had to call today netflix went down and the man who helped me was great. He said netflix was updating and that is why people are having more problems with the system, so i was glad to get someone who could help me. I like my box, works good.

The combination of ROKU and Netflix was powerful enough to sell us on the first box. Now with the marriage to HULU Plus it has gotten even better. But wait, the ROKU channels are becoming as numerous as cable, and these are not the same old boring channels. From Live concerts to exercise to classic movie to independent productions and foreign tv channel surfing has regained a foothold again in my house. And the best part is I am not hit by the enormous cable or sattellite bills every month. Much of the content is provided for free.

I needed Roku technicians to help set up codes, etc, but they were great in spending the necessary time in setting up both Rokus

Living in a rural area, our cable/ satellite choices are slim, if any at all. And, if you find a company that will provide service, it will cost you your paycheck! This is why we bought the Roku. We had been streaming our shows through our PC and Hulu Plus, but the quality wasn't all that it could be on our 1080p quallity t.v. With the Roku, we get 1080p, HD quality AND my monthly subscriptions to Hulu and Netflix are so much cheaper than what any cable or satellite company can offer!! I HIGHLY recommend this porduct and have voiced my opinion to all my friends and family about it! Why everyone is not going this route is beyond me. THE ROKU ROCKS!!!
