After 6 days of trying I was unable to set Roku up to work successfully. Customer service was zero help. They dont speak understandable English, you get a different one each time and a different case number each time. I have returned the unit and I am still getting new case numbers. [...] Do not buy this product unless you want to hard wire, or you are a bona fide nerd

On hooking it up, 2 separate units, they would not talk to the TV, making it impossible to proceed.

Even with tech help, still not able to get up and operating.
Pros: Compact, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Takes computer savvy, Difficult to set up, Tech help not helpful, Not able to get working, Hard to set up

I recently had a problem with my player and the customer service that I got was amazing. From live online troubleshooting to replacement, it was exemplary. To provide such support, well after a sale is refreshing and welcome. I would recommend this product simply for that alone!
Pros: High quality picture, Easy to set up, Video selection, Easy to use, Built in Wi-Fi, Reliability, Compact, Great value

I'd just about given up on watching TV given the inane network shows that are currently running. With Roku I can watch desireable TV series, wonderful documentaries and movies that suit my eclectic taste - from recent releases to foreign and indie movies. While Netflix mail-in service works well it is limited to a few options at a time. Roku gives me a wide variety of selections instantly. I was impressed by how easy it was to install - 5 minutes later it was up and running perfectly. Great manual, wonderful product! Have already recommended it to many friends who don't have Netflix enabled TV's.

I'm hooked on Netflix, which I had connected to my Xbox 360, I have to say this device trumps the 360, no need to login everytime and connect to the internet, it is constantly on, like a regular channel on TV. Small size makes it easy to travel with.

This was my second purchase from ROKU and the email promised that an upgrade would be provided to enable my Roku XR to playback 1080p feedback. This never HAPPENED!!! Now you tell me that you have compatibility issues so I have to GIVE YOU MORE MONEY FOR ANOTHER ONE AND I CAN'T RETURN THIS ONE! Because I bought it on your word that it would be 1080p compatible!!! VAPORWARE! And not what I expected from a company I trusted once, but NEVER AGAIN!

Cons: 1080p upgrade not provide

You need to put more set up instruction with the product. I cannot get mine to turn on at any of my 3 TVs
