Roku delivers!

Ordering the Roku was easy, setting it up was easy, as a matter of fact I'm hard pressed to find an issue with the device at all. I've actually setup 2 Rokus, both on wifi, and love how simple they really are. The appliance itself is really small and is easy to place with your other entertainment tech. The remote is small and simple too. It has your standard playback buttons along with an instant replay which I find very useful. It does not have a power button and neither does the device... I think this is a good thing because the Roku is always on, ready and willing to entertain. The channel lineup is impressive for free\cheap options. There's a classical channel that never disappoints and the Netflix works well with one caveat. When you watch a episode on another device, stop and later continue on the Roku, it will not know what episode you left off on.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to set up, Compact, Easy to use, Video selection, Great value
Cons: Need fast internet service

We love Pandora. Setting up radio stations for our favorite artists is easy and so much fun!

I wish I would have found ROKU sooner. As soon as I had it set up (Aprox 5-10 min), one of the eastiest things ever set up I I called my satelite provider and changed my programming to their basic package whis is a savings of $40 a month. As soon as my commitment is up which is approx 1 year from now, I will be cancelling my service and putting up an antenna so I can receive my local channels and eliminating my satelite bill. I will be buying two more ROKU's one for the bedroom and one for the living room. This is an amazing product I will be recommending to family & friends.

Quick and easy set up. Recommend XD or XDs if router is a distance away of Roku device. Was up and running within 30 minutes and I am far from technologically savvy.

Best Product Ever!!!

I purchased the Roku XD about 2 weeks ago. I set it up on on a Tuesday and by the weekend my wife and I were hooked. This is what TV should be; the viewer controlling what is being viewed. Not network execs deciding when, where and what time we will watch TV shows. Now we have three players and we will never go back. One player is on my >15 year old television and it works great and the picture quality is great. Goodbye cable!!!!!!

I use this for a lot of different programs. The only thing that is missing are the local channels and I am sure Roku is working on that.

This is the best thing since slice bread. This little box is the balm. I try and recommend it to all my friends. Looking to save on cable, you couldn't ask for anything better. simple to hook up and easy to navigate.
Pros: Better than cable
Cons: Want local channels

I was previously using my XBox 360 to stream Netflix, because it came with 4 months of the Live service for free. So when it came time to renew the Live subscription, I instead ordered a Roku. My sister and parents both have them and loved them, I'd also used them and was impressed, plus the cost of the player was not much more than the XBox Live subscription (which I would eventually have to renew again!!). It came very quickly and in minutes I had it setup and running. What a difference it is between the Roku and the XBox!! The XBox was constantly buffering and I could rarely get above 2 bars of reception and sometimes would just drop the connection. I can only get 1.5 DSL where I live, so bandwidth isn't great to begin with. The Roku consistently gets 3 bars of reception and only drops to 2 when I use the connection for a computer at the same time. And then goes right back to 3 when I'm done on the computer. It's never dropped the connection to Netflix yet!! Plus, I get a few more free channels that were not available with the XBox. Again, I love it!!!!
