When it works (which is most of the time) it works great - high quality picture & streaming, and a few pay channels (Netflix, HuluPlus, Amazon Prime & AcornTV) total under $28/mo which is almost $100/mo less than our cable bill was (and it's so much easier than hooking up my laptop all the time)! But twice in the past month it has failed to stream video instead showing an error screen message of "HDCP unauthorized content disabled" which necessitated unplugging hdmi cable, the roku box & the tv & restarting everything (which will be a big pain in the neck if it happens frequently). Otherwise, I love it!

There are only good things to say about this streaming device. I have purchased the Vizio box and the Sony box because of all the hype. They freeze up and are no fun to set up and use. I gave one of those devices as a gift. I was embarrassed that they has so much difficulty. I told them to put it on a shelf and I sent them a Roku. I know they will not have any problems with it.
