Unexpected but *great* use: on the *treadmill*! No more cranking the volume up high (and everyone complaining). The headphones on the remote control jack have changed the game!! I also have a gen1 and a gen2, Roku's controls have stayed simple and the new UI works flawlessly on my gen2 XS.
