II use this to get the Beck TV network... Great deal.. Lot's of GREAT news (Well kinda) about what our country, The USA, is facing and how WE The People of the United States Of America, can SAVE the constitution we were founded upon.

I bought my Roku at [@], as that is the only place in town that carries them. 2.5 months into using my Roku I started having problems. [@] wouldn't take it back becuase it was past the 2 week return period. I'm now fighting with Roku on replacing it as it is less than 3 months old!!! Unless you buy directly from them they don't stand behind their products.
Pros: Easy to set up, Easy to use, Built in Wi-Fi, High quality picture
Cons: Inconsistent performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When this device worked, it was awesome, but with very infrequent use, it cmpletely stopoped working after about 13 months. Warrenty is only 1 year, and that is exactly how long it lasted. For a device to not even last a year is despicable, I would give negative stars if I could. The Hardware is pure JUNK!

Great when it works, but often doesn't

The product was easy to set up at first, and I was thrilled with it for the first 3 weeks of ownership. I recommended it to several friends during that time. However... For the past 2 or so weeks, the box hasn't worked as it should. For some reason it won't connect to the internet, despite connecting to my home network. I've been through all the online support documents & community threads that seemed relevant. I've re-built my home network several times (hardware & software), reset and replaced my fibre optics box, tried different routers, wasted several hours on the phone, live chat and e-mail with tech support. [...] With this in mind, I definitely would not recommend purchasing the box.

Horrible customer service!

To give a little background about my issue, I ordered a Roku player through Woot and didn't not receive a remote in the shipment. I contacted Roku support on August 25. I have contacted support multiple times about this issue and at one time had 3 cases open for me. Each time I contacted support in the beginning I was asked for information. I responded quickly with this information and was eventually told that I would be contacted the next day to ensure shipment of the remote. I was never contacted and was ignored. Eventually, I opened another case and then received an update on one of the old cases that I would be contacted the next day (October 4) to process the RMA for the remote. However, I was never contacted and instead received an email this morning saying that since I hadn't contacted them within 7 days they are assuming my case has been resolved. This is definitely not the case. It has been a month and a half (October 10) since I first contacted Roku support about the simple shipment of a remote that was not included in the original shipment as it should have been. I have responded quickly with all the information that was asked of me and was promised by support that this issue would be taken care of. This is completely inexcusable and needs to be resolved immediately. There should also be other action taken and some sort of credit awarded to me because of this issue. I ordered the Roku because I thought it would be a great product, but I see now that this is not the case and I have informed people to stay away from your product because of the complete lack of respect and care the company shows their customers. I have no idea if the product is any good or not since you can't use the Roku without the remote so I can't really give a review of the product itself, but you should hope that you never have to deal with customer service.

Having Problems

Takes 8-10 attempts to get a connection. Sometimes I have to resync with amazon. when picture starts it somtimes just stops and goes back to menu. It takes apx 10 to 20 minutes to rent a movie. I dont know if its Roku or amazon but it doesn't work well for me.

Cons: Inconsistent performance, Difficult to use

Customer Service reps tried for HOURS to get mine to work. Even sent me another one, but I eventually just gave up. I was very disappointed, but they tried hard.
