I love my Roku! There is so much to watch that I don't have to pay for any kind of television service. It is very easy to navigate through the channels and easy to add/delete any of them. The remote is simple and easy to use.
Pros: Easy to use, Easy to set up, Great value, Video selection, Reliability, Built in Wi-Fi, Compact, High quality picture
Bought this (refurbished) item at the suggestion of someone who said it was great and easy to use. Well, it wasn't easy to set up (took about an hour with a CSR). Once it was up and running, the thing shuts down every few minutes. Last movie we tried to watch either shut down every 90 seconds or went to a commercial which played up to 7 times in a row. Taking it back to the store today. Friend suggested we try purchasing a NEW Roku. If I do, hopefully I'll have better luck and can enjoy the t.v. again.
Pros: Compact
Cons: Inconsistent performance, Need To Be Computer Savvy, Need fast internet service
We own 3 Roku, two of the original Roku xd, still working and one Roku 2 xs which supports captions which we use because of hard of hearing issue. Not hard to set up and use, very happy with the devices.
Pros: Easy to set up, Built in Wi-Fi, High quality picture, Great value, Easy to use, Video selection, Compact
The Roku has been a huge help for me to see USATVNow without being on my computer. Still some glitches because of my internet speed. HOPE SOMEDAY THAT HGTV IS A CHOICE -- I really miss that station! For some reason, I cannot get Netflix to come on as choice. Too complicated to figure out why.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Compact, Easy to use, Easy to set up, Great value
Cons: Need fast internet service, Want more video choices
