We have cut back on our cable subscriptions as a result of buying the Roku 2. We save money and have so much more control over our viewing choices. Between Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Amazon, we have all the content we could possibly watch. Buy this box, ditch your cable, buy something nice for yourself with all the money you'll save.

Since we purchased Roku, we rarely watch regular TV. The available movies and TV series meet our needs. The variety makes it easy to select something that fits our current mindset. We recommend Roku to our friends. When we have power outages, we have to re-enter the passwords for our router and Roku. The problem is that doesn't happen often enough for us to remember the process.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Outstanding price, support and choices. The only negatives so far is intermittent cutting out (although the shows come right back on) and the false advertising of the "free" designations on the channel selection ~ all channels have fees. We have another kind of device that's much more complicated to use that makes us really appreciate the Roku. Our cable provider charges exorbitantly and their customer "service" people could care less so this is the perfect alternative. Thanks again.
