The Roku-3 was dropping out frequently even though it was very close to the wi-fi router. This was solved by supplying the signal through an ethernet cable. We have a two Roku-LT's which do not have the same problem, even though they are located 4 times farther away and 2 more walls between. Papa

Even though I already own an Apple tv, I bought this to use in my office. It's very nioe, with a MUCH BETTER remote than Apple's. The Apple remote is too small, too thin and too easy to miss the button and hit something else!

Started with the original Roku, w/o the Wi-Fi, having to use the AV setting, then TV went to digital. Got a flat screen, hi def television and Wi-Fi so upgraded and was able to HDMI setting and WOW, what a difference! Picture quality difference is amazing! I bought the new Roku and didn't hook it up for almost a year and now I'm kicking myself for waiting. Enjoying great quality now though. So easy to set up and use and such a small amount of space it takes up. Love my Roku, loved it before but love it so much more now!!!
