Do yourself a favor, don't wait. For the past two or three months my wife and I talked about buying a Roku 3. Our dithering (well, mostly my dithering) put another $500 - $600 into the bulging pockets of those wonderful folks at Comcast. Here's the deal: the Roku 3 is so easy to set up that I, a techniphobe, managed it in 20 minutes or so. The range of channels is extraordinary. And given the vast variety of movies available from Amazon and Netflix, I doubt I'll ever buy another DVD. Most important to me is the quality of the picture, and Roku's is every bit as clear and as detailed as cable, maybe more so. (One ridiculously small caveat: it'd be great if, while I used the earphones - I'm 70 - my wife could still hear the TV's speakers. If there's a software fix for this, I'd welcome it.) Don't wait.
Pros: Great value, Easy to use, Easy to set up, High quality picture, Video selection, Compact, Built in Wi-Fi
Easy to use. Worth the money. Company needs to make warranty longer tho. I have only had my player 6 months and I am out of warranty. Warranty should be at least a year.
