GET IT!!!!

i've recommended it to EVERYONE! I've always had problems streaming video and this works flawlessly. Netflix and Hulu plus are GREAT $15 a month for way more than cable and you can acutally watch shows WHEN YOU WANT TOO. I bought a dedicated pc for the tv after using this thinking it would be better... it ISN"T! staying with the roku. Current shows are 1 day behind usually. not a big deal at all for me.
Pros: Reliability, High quality picture, Runs hulu plus flawlessly, Easy to use, Built in Wi-Fi, Runs netflix flawlessly, Video selection, Compact, Great value, Much better than my PCHT, Easy to set up
Cons: Not enough in stock, A day late on tv shows

Great Product-most of the time

The Roku XD was easy to set up, small, and very easy to use. The drawback is that probably 2 or 3 times a week it gives error messages that say "netflix experienced an error" and it repeatedly boots you out of netflix. This may go on for up to 45 minutes before it will let you back in. Maybe it is more a netflix issue than the Roku. Also, even though I have high-speed cable internet, the player rarely operates on the highest quality, usually 3 and sometimes 2.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Compact, Easy to set up, Easy to use
Cons: Inconsistent performance

It's not sliced bread, but who could ever watch movies or TV shows or entertainment on sliced bread? My Roku is an easy way, thanks to Netflix and Prime, for me to catch up on things I might have missed along the way or old favorites I fondly remember and wanted to see again.

Roku XD Player Vs Playstation

When Playstation network went down I searched for a solution via Netflix and Roku won hands down, for price for reviews. Then I bought one and was I impressed. So impressed in fact I bought a second one and set it up in the bedroom. Then I saw the ad on Dijit remote for my Iphone. Tried it loved it, use it all the time. You have a great product, don't mess it up. I cannot tell you about slow internet connections though as mine is very fast 35 Meg up and 35 Meg down. But I certainly have NO repeat NO issues with this device in my environment.
